What Occurs at CLOW?
The goal of Children’s Liturgy is to help children understand both the structure and meaning of liturgical worship, fostering a deeper love of God. During Children’s Liturgy, the Gospel is presented at an age-appropriate level and accompanied by an interactive message that connects faith to children’s everyday lives.
Parents are encouraged to ask their child what they heard or discussed during Children’s Liturgy to continue the conversation at home.
Children's Liturgy of the Word will be offered at the 8:00 am and 10:00 am Sunday Masses, except on major holiday weekends, including New Year's, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.Beginning in Summer 2025, we will not offer Children's Liturgy of the Word in June, July, or August.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) is offered during the 8:00 am and 10:00 am Sunday Masses, with the exception of major holiday weekends and over summer break. This program is open to all children ages 3 through 3rd grade.
After the Opening Prayer, children are invited up for a blessing and dismissed to a designated area to participate in the Liturgy of the Word on an age-appropriate level. The children will then return to Mass during the Offertory to celebrate the Liturgy of the Eucharist with their families. Parents are welcome to attend with their children. Sometimes children need to have the comfort of a parent for the first few times.
No registration fee or form is required. Children are welcome to participate at any time. -
Volunteers NeededWe are looking for adult catechists to share their love of the Word and joy in Christ with our little ones.
- All volunteers must be cleared through the Diocese of Dallas Safe Environment Program. This includes training, background, and reference checks.
- Volunteers will be asked to lead or assist in supervising children during this program.
